So that’s how it feels
to have big accomplishments
yet nothing at all.
Thank you,
For making me happy.
For making me smile.
For making me laugh.
For making me cry.
For making me feel.
For being the charming gardener who makes the daffodils in my heart blossom with sweet delight.
For making me happy.
For making me smile.
For making me laugh.
For making me cry.
For making me feel.
For being the charming gardener who makes the daffodils in my heart blossom with sweet delight.

Everyone says
it’s going to hurt now
before it gets better
but I don’t think
I can wait that long
or maybe
I just don’t want to let go.
I’d rather have something
than go on
with nothing.
it’s going to hurt now
before it gets better
but I don’t think
I can wait that long
or maybe
I just don’t want to let go.
I’d rather have something
than go on
with nothing.

What’s your favourite word?
What’s yours?
Mine’s ember…like the embers of a flame.
Mine’s mouth.
Why?
I dunno…maybe coz you’ve gotta say it real slow for it to sound sexy.
Right…

Teeny: Roberta, truth or dare?
Roberta: Truth.
Teeny: Just how big are your boobs now?
Roberta: Drop dead.
Teeny: She has to say, doesn’t she, Sam?
Samantha Albertson: She doesn’t have to say if she doesn’t want to.
Teeny: Then can we see them?
Roberta: No, you can’t see them!
- Now and Then (1995).

Define Heat: It’s 10 minutes outdoors before becoming a giant abstract painting of sweat stains and unintentionally see-through clothing.

You looked at me. You looked hard at me. As if you were mad at me. And
then I saw a slight twinge at the corner of your mouth. Then I smiled
because I knew.

Modesty is not only in the way we dress. It should also be in the way we
treat one another. And in the way that we deal with ourselves. But
beware of false modesty. Because it is the ugliest type of denial there
is.

I will never stop saying this. Just in case somehow the wind carries my
message to you. I don’t pretend to think you’d ever stop to listen but
just maybe, maybe on one of those occasions you’ll have your guard down.
And over the din of the music and noise you might hear me. Or maybe in
the silence of the night. In between the wake and sleeplessness. I’ll be
there like a shadow of something in the past. I will never stop saying
this.
