Wade In the Cold Waters.
Your voice remains
and it echoes through the canyons
of my mind,
it would try to take me
from absent friends with hollow smiles,
still I listen and use the needle of my compass
to sew up the pieces
my broken heart.
Kitchen Poetry # 9.
I still haven’t sent
those old yellow love letters
all written for you.
Kitchen Poetry # 8.
It’s easy to forget
but I hope you never forget
my silhouette.
The (In)Significant Spaces.
A night as dark as this and
it feels like I’m not moving.
The endless sea of dark
echoes the malancholy of my heart.
Memories fill the emptiness
with a tinge of sorrow and regret.
The could haves
and should haves
punctuated with everything in between.
There’s nothing left
but a cold shiver down the spine.
The poetics of space will leave an aftertaste
of you and me and how it used to be.
Kitchen Poetry # 7.
In the absence of the night
Everything wrong seems right
We need more dark
To cover up the crimes of your heart.
Kitchen Poetry # 6.
How strange
the world changes
from night to day
and back again
without slowing even to acknowledge
that my life will forever be night
because you
are no longer here.
Kitchen Poetry # 5.
Let me
be your pilot
and I’ll steer you
far from the madness
away from the crazy
till there’s nowhere left to go
except
to come into me.
