I am the traveller

wide-eyed and eager

a stranger in a strange land

lost along the curve of your hips

following the trail on your lips

you speak to me in tongues

and set my mouth on fire

your body is a hieroglyph of secrets

and my hands wander

searching for the secrets

lost to others

who have come before.
